Sailing brings, for most of us, summer thoughts and holiday nostalgia. There is, however, that category of enthusiasts who identify the essence of this sport and practice it full of enthusiasm both in their free time and in competitions. In Romania, the most important such competitions are the Romanian Cup and the National Championship, but Corporate Regatta, the competition dedicated to companies, is also organized annually.
Competitive by nature and aware that Sameday’s strengths have positioned us as the company with the most spectacular growth in recent years, we have been actively involved in this year’s sailing competitions. In the National Offshore Championship, the crew that led the sailboat Sameday took 1st place, just before the last stage. We are only 6 points away from the main competitor, so great chances to become national champions. Roads open to new successes, the Sameday crew and all competitors!
For us, sailing is like courier. Both require teamwork and perfect coordination, so that the road to success is a sure one. In sailing, but also in courier, there is a need for adaptation on the fly, dedicated people, coordination as accurate as possible, so that fine-tuning makes the difference between success and victory. We wanted to test our theory by participating in the Corporate Regatta, in which the Senior Management team highlighted its coordination skills not only in business, but also at sea.
With the experience of a windsurfing business in canvas, our colleagues took 1st place at the 3rd edition of Corporate Regatta. Congratulations, Sameday leadership!
