Romania’s Competition Council approves the takeover of Cargus by SAMEDAY

Bucharest, 2 April 2026 – SAMEDAY, the courier company that introduced easybox delivery in Romania, announced that the Competition Council has approved its acquisition of Cargus, the first private courier company in Romania.

In the coming period, each of the two companies will prepare the relevant documentation to finalize the transaction. More details will be provided at the appropriate time.
